MARKET SQUARE
The Market Square has been the heart of the town and the most important square since the most former times. It was the place where people met and discussed business matters.
It is important to mention that the Market Square kept its quadrilateral shape. From all sides it is surrounded by compact buildings which are mainly two-storey. The primeval mediaeval buildings were destroyed in time of fires in 1822.
