St. John Nepomucen's Chapel

ST. JOHN NEPOMUCEN'S CHAPEL

According to the folk tradition John Nepomucen is a saint who protects fields and crops from floods and other natural disasters. He is also the patron of bridges and crossings. For this the reason you can find the figure of Saint John Nepomucen near rivers, lakes and bridges. In the past, in the place, where St. John Nepomucen's Chapel is situated, there was a former river bed of Drama. The building of the chapel and the statue of the saint are dated back to XIX century.
