St. Nicholas's Church

ST. NICHOLAS'S CHURCH

Over several centuries St. Nicholas's Church was the only parish church in the town. It was rebuilt many times. Originally it was dedicated to Saint Paul and erected in 1256 by Lutozata and Lionka – Pisko's sons. However, since1412 it has been dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The present edifice of the church was built in the second half of XV century. In the years 1560-1627 it was a Protestant temple. The tower of the church comes from 1824.
